Early
Garnet BTO
Control Panel
Just to the left of the guitar inputs are the footswitchable "Stinger"
controls. The Stinger circuit was an adjustable fuzz with "color" control
and a volume control that allowed it to be blended with the main volume as would
later be done with two channel amps.
The "Sound Fountain" Treble, Bass, and Volume controls all had pull
switches for tonal variation.
When the Tremolo was activated the amber lamp would flash in time with the trem
pulse. Vintage Garnets are famous for their trem depth and speed range. |
